Integrated HIV/AIDS Project – Kinshasa (IHAP – Kinshasa)

Overview

Status:

Open

Country:

Democratic Republic of Congo

Date:

2017-2022

IHAP-Kinshasa is aligned with achieving UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets by 2020 and built on PEPFAR’s global strategic and DCMM recommendations, which put emphasis on HIV prevention, care, and treatment for priority populations (including TB and malnourished patients, adolescent girls and young women, children at risk for HIV, pregnant women and their families, and men). With United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funding, IHAP-Kinshasa will ensure strategic linkages among services both in the facility and the community level, advance the HIV/AIDS response, and achieve sustained epidemic control in DRC, particularly in the five Kinshasa supported health zones and 58 health facilities.
