Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) Named to 2012 CIO Top 100 for IT-Business

August 3, 2012, Washington, D.C. – The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has been named to CIO Magazine’s Top 100 for 2012, recognizing the Foundation for excellence in information technology.

EGPAF was named to the list for its innovative Intranet, known as Crossroads, which links the Foundation’s global staff and allows employees to share best practices from the field, access important stored documents remotely, and post blogs and photographs to promote interaction across offices and around the world. Developed by a cross-departmental Foundation team, Crossroads is available in English, French, and Portuguese, and is part of an overall strategy to improve communications throughout the organization.

Beginning in 1986, the CIO Top 100 has recognized organizations for successfully integrating their information technology and business practices. The list is compiled in a three-step process by a panel of judges and CIO editors.  Complete coverage of the 2012 CIO 100 awards will appear in the Aug. 1 issue of CIO magazine and online at cio.com on Aug. 1.
