What could be better than spending a sunny, fun-filled afternoon with family and friends, and helping children around the world while you do it? The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s 20th annual A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic allowed guests to do just that: Hang with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, play old-fashioned carnival games, enjoy a banquet of delicious food, and rock out to a special performance by superstar Miley Cyrus!
Over the last 20 years, A Time for Heroes has earned a reputation as a unique event of exceptional quality and entertainment value. Most importantly, A Time for Heroes is a crucial funding source for the Foundation’s programs — raising more than $30 million since the event began in 1990. And since Disney generously joined us again in 2009 as the event's title sponsor, the funds raised will help the Foundation to continue its lifesaving work.
