Columbia University’s ninth annual "For the Kids" Dance Marathon (CUDM) was a huge success, running from 12:00 p.m. on January 31 until 4:00 p.m. on February 1. Columbia students stayed on their feet for 28 hours in an effort to represent the mental and physical challenges faced by children suffering from HIV/AIDS.
Congratulations to the Columbia dancers for raising $50,000 to help support the Foundation's lifesaving programs! Read more about CUDM 2009.
In response to the overwhelming desire of students to participate actively in the fight against HIV/AIDS, CUDM began in 2001. Now in its ninth year, CUDM has become Columbia University's largest philanthropic event, having raised more than $500,000 for the Foundation’s lifesaving programs.
