We’re making great strides in the fight to eliminate pediatric HIV/AIDS!
Globally, new HIV infections among children have plummeted by 52% since 2001, according to the 2013 UNAIDS report on the global HIV/AIDS Epidemic.
But our work is far from finished. Every day, 700 children are born with HIV. At the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), we work hard to ensure that every HIV-positive expectant mother has access to care and treatment to prevent the transmission of the virus.
