Photo of the Day: AIDS Walk Washington

By EGPAF | October 28, 2013

On Oct.  26, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) staff, family, and friends participated in the 2013 AIDS Walk Washington  – an annual 5K that raises money and awareness to benefit Whitman-Walker Health, a non-profit community-based health organization which provides dependable, high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible health care to those infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS in Washington, D.C.

More than 8,000 participants raised more than $600,000 to fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic. As a Community Partner for this year’s walk, EGPAF joined 11 other DC-area HIV/AIDS service organizations to support Whitman-Walker Health and increase awareness for our cause. The EGPAF team would like to congratulate and thank everyone who helped make Saturday’s event a success!
