Happy Birthday to USAID!

By EGPAF | November 4, 2013

Today we are wishing the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) a very happy 52nd birthday! The agency was created by President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 1, 1961 in order to foster broad scale progress and development overseas. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) has partnered with USAID since 2002 to provide HIV prevention, care, and treatment services to children and families in Lesotho, Mozambique, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Kenya.
