EGPAF Ambassador Hydeia Broadbent Stops HIV with the CDC

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) Ambassador Hydeia Broadbent shares her personal HIV journey with the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a part of their Let’s Stop HIV Together Campaign

“I know AIDS is something that happened to me, but does not define me as a person,” Hydeia says in the video. “Anything I can do to help others feel comfortable in their own skin while living with HIV/AIDS, I’ll be a part of it.”

On Jan. 17, Hydeia appeared on “Oprah’s Where Are They Now?” to reignite the conversation about HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention.  Click here to keep up with all of Hydeia’s amazing work to combat stigma toward people living with HIV.
