Connected: 25 Years of Fighting For Mothers, Children, and Families

By EGPAF | November 8, 2013

Connected: 25 Years Fighting for Mothers, Children, and Families is a collection of stories that celebrate a quarter century of our shared commitment to end pediatric AIDS.

The story of EGPAF is one of connections. The bond between a mother and her child, kinship between friends, the relationship between research and lifesaving care, and a unifying mission that is driving real and lasting global change.

The journey that began 25 years ago with three friends around a kitchen table shaped the organization that we are today: a leader in the global fight against HIV/AIDS, a beacon of programmatic and research excellence, and a champion of mothers, children, and families all over the world.

Stories featured in the series include Susie Zeegen, Susan DeLaurentis, Jake Glaser, Foundation Ambassadors, Dr. Michael Gottlieb, some of Elizabeth’s personal friends, and those involved in EGPAF’s work at the beginning, today, and tomorrow.

Be sure to follow along throughout the next couple of months as we reveal a new story from the 25th Anniversary story series every week!
