On Tuesday, Nov. 18, UNAIDS released a new report titled Fast Track: Ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030. The report outlines ambitious new targets to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030 and prevent nearly 28 million new infections and 21 million deaths.

“Stigma remains the single most important barrier to public action [on HIV],” according to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is working with Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India to reduce stigma so that girls like Renuca can grow up healthy and with parents.
