The Foundation and Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEΦ)

The Foundation was adopted as one of AEPhi’s national philanthropies in 2000. Elizabeth Glaser herself was an AEPhi alumna (Sigma Chapter, University of Wisconsin), as is Foundation co-founder and former Board member Susie Zeegen (Xi Chapter, University of Southern California).

Ever since its founding in 1988, the Foundation has had one critical mission: the elimination of pediatric AIDS. In the early years, little research was focused on the issue of pediatric AIDS. Today, through partnerships like the one with Alpha Epsilon Phi, the Foundation has grown its research, in-country programs and advocacy capabilities significantly – and since its inception, the Foundation has raised millions of dollars towards pediatric AIDS research.

The Foundation is proud to work with AEPhi as its chapters across the country hold events to raise money for the Foundation and to educate their campus communities about the unique issues facing young people living with HIV and AIDS.
