HIV & AIDS in Mozambique

Approximately 1.4 million people are living with HIV in Mozambique. Of those, 130,000 are children under the age of 15 (Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, Report on the Global AIDS Epidemic, 2010). By strengthening Mozambique’s national health system, Fundação Ariel Glaser is helping prevent new HIV infections in children and providing HIV care and treatment to children, women, and men already living with the virus.
