When Elizabeth Glaser discovered that the drugs prolonging her own life were unavailable to her daughter because they had not yet been tested on children, she became the first person to champion the needs of children with HIV/AIDS before Congress and the White House.

Building on Elizabeth’s legacy, EGPAF now works with policymakers in the U.S. and around the world to continue the work Elizabeth started, advocating for the best public policies for women, children, and families with HIV/AIDS.

As one of the largest providers of prevention of mother-to-child transmission services under the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), EGPAF advocates for and implements PEPFAR programs to increase access to HIV prevention, care, and treatment services for children, women, and families affected by HIV and AIDS. Learn more

Pediatric HIV and AIDS Research and Product Development
