EGPAF has been a pioneer in its work to not only provide care and treatment and prevention of mother-to-child transmission services, but also help countries build up their capacity to support and provide improved medical services for people living with HIV. In
Cote d’Ivoire, EGPAF has worked with the Ivorian Pediatric Society (SIP) to train health care workers and pediatricians to provide better treatment and support for patients, particularly children living with HIV.
