The Foundation will be participating in two events next week related to the United Nations summit on reaching the Millennium Development Goals, which include combating HIV/AIDS and protecting maternal and child health.
Dr. R.J. Simonds, our Vice President for Program Innovation and Policy, and Dr. Ric Marlink, our Senior Advisor for Medical and Scientific Affairs, will be speaking on panels Sunday and Tuesday respectively about health system strengthening in our response to HIV/AIDS, and an integrated approach to eliminating pediatric AIDS.
