As a member of the Communications Department, I’m proud to announce that one of the Foundation’s communications initiatives recently received a Platinum MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).

The
MarCom Awards are an international marketing, communications, and design competition developed by the AMCP to recognize materials and publications produced by corporations, governments, agencies, nonprofits, and clubs of all sizes.
The Foundation was awarded the Platinum Award – the highest honor from the annual communications competition – for its 2010 “Elimination Campaign.” This included our latest
informational brochure, the moving
“The Time to Eliminate Pediatric AIDS Is Now” video, and striking signage used for the Foundation’s booth at events and conferences.
The Foundation developed this campaign to bring awareness to the fact that we can eliminate pediatric HIV and AIDS around the world, and to increase momentum toward realizing this achievable goal.

Every day we strive to introduce new audiences to the incredible work of the Foundation, and act as a voice for children, mothers, and families living with or affected by HIV and AIDS.
