While I sit on the plane ready to head home, I have a chance to think back on all I got to do during this amazing past weekend:
A skit with Kami, the HIV-positive Muppet from Takalani Sesame (the South African version of Sesame Street), at the Foundation’s 17th Kids For Kids carnival in New York. A night with
Glamour magazine to honor Mom at their
Women of the Year gala. Combine that with the city that never sleeps, and I’d say I hit the trifecta.
It was great, and we accomplished everything we set out to do. I want to give a huge thanks to everyone at Kids For Kids and Glamour for hosting such a beautiful weekend.
Oh, and don’t forget Dad was with me. So mom, Ariel, I say to you, “The whole family was here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
