Jake Glaser, the son of Elizabeth Glaser, was recently invited to sit down with CNN’s Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, to talk about his life as a young adult living with HIV, the Foundation’s global efforts to eliminate pediatric AIDS, and what it means to carry on his mother’s legacy. Now 25 years old, Jake is thriving both as a young professional, and as an eloquent spokesperson for the Foundation.

CNN produced a piece that aired in the United States on CNN’s signature health show, Sanjay Gupta MD, on Saturday, July 31st at 7:30am. International audiences can watch the podcast at www.cnn.com/podcast starting Monday, August 2.

Check out a recent blog post on Dr. Gupta's blog with highlights from the interview.

Beautiful young man with a soul that really cares for other people. I wish Jake Glaser everything good in his life. I love and pray for him because he's MORE than "Starsky's son" --- he is a great GIFT to humanity given by God and a role model for all of us.

I'm glad that he's healthy and well. I just finished reading Elizabeth Glaser's book "In the Absence of Angels". An incredible book that I'm so glad that I read. Elizabeth was an amazing woman; someone I would have loved to meet - her husband Paul as well.
