On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, EGPAF Ambassador Florence Ngobeni-Allen was asked to speak at a special breakfast on Capitol Hill hosted by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Patrick Leahy (D-VT), and Congresswomen Kay Granger (R-TX) and Nita Lowey (D-NY). The bipartisan event featured an audience of leading U.S. policymakers and remarks from a roster of champions in the fight against AIDS, including Sir Elton John, UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe, and Florence.
