Delta Sky Magazine: Cause Celeb, Nigel Barker working toward a generation free of HIV
April 7, 2011
Famed photographer and Foundation Ambassador Nigel Barker was featured in the April issue of Delta's in-air Sky Magazine.
Since Elizabeth Glaser founded her eponymous pediatric AIDS foundation in 1988, education efforts and medical efforts have led to fewer than 200 babies being born each year with HIV in the United States. But in other parts of the world, the number of HIV-infected children is still rising. Nigel Barker works with the Foundation’s African division. “With the combined efforts of the international organizations, governments, private donors, and other partners, we can finish what Elizabeth Glaser started and eliminate pediatric AIDS throughout the world,” Barker says.
