The Guardian (Tanzania): 300 Newborns Spared HIV/AIDS

Tanzania’s The Guardian details the success in preventing new infant HIV infections in the Kilimanjaro Region over the past four years, as well as the Tanzanian First Lady’s visit to a Foundation-supported medical center.

"Over 3,000 newborns in Kilimanjaro Region have been protected from HIV/Aids infection from their victim mothers in four years time.

"The ‘life saving’ feat has been possible through the partnership between U.S Elizabeth Glaser Pediatrics AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) and Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC)." Read more
