Country Offices Mark 20th Anniversary with Inspiring Events

Foundation President and CEO Chip Lyons and Executive Vice President Nick Hellmann visited the Foundation's offices in Zambia and Kenya in February to meet with key officials, implementing partners, and stakeholders working with the Foundation to eliminate pediatric AIDS. Along with visits to Foundation-supported sites, they also participated in events recognizing the Foundation's 20th Anniversary. Read more about our programs in Kenya and Zambia.

UCLA Students Raise More than $407,000 in the Fight against Pediatric AIDS

UCLA hosted its record-breaking ninth annual "Up for the Fight" Dance Marathon last month, raising more than $407,000 in the fight against pediatric AIDS. The Foundation was among three pediatric AIDS organizations to benefit from the event, which brought together close to 1,500 students for 26 hours of dance.
Participating students pledged to stay on their feet and dance for the length of the marathon, while supporters sponsored individual dancers. Read about the event and watch highlights here.
Foundation Gives Voice to Children at Annual International Conference

Research funded by the Foundation has resulted in major scientific advances related to pediatric HIV/AIDS. To help further achieve this goal, the Foundation recently attended the 17th Annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) in San Francisco. CROI brings together the world's greatest scientific minds to discuss and collaborate on research related to HIV/AIDS. Read more about the Foundation's commitment to research here.
