A Time For Heroes Celebrity Picnic

At the 2010 A Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic, guests hung out with Hollywood’s hottest stars, played games, and enjoyed unbelievable food while helping create a generation free of HIV.

Thanks to the support of our donors and sponsors — including title sponsor Disney — this year's picnic raised $1.3 million to help the Foundation eliminate pediatric AIDS.

Highlights of the picnic included a special performance by multi-platinum recording artist, actor, and songwriter Jesse

McCartney, and the debut of our specially designed Tunaweza discs.

Other fun activities: Meeting Disney friends and enjoying the rhythms of Africa at Safari camp; helping change the world by creating special kits to send to mommies and babies in Africa and India; and decorating canvas night lights with Oopsy daisy, T-shirts with Michael Stars, and jeans with 77Kids by American Eagle Guests also enjoyed Disney adventure stories read by their favorite celebrity heroes at the Hadithi Storytelling Adventure, and took safari-themed photos at the Kodak photo-sharing tent.
