Message From the Zimbabwe Country Director, Patricia Mbetu

Patricia enjoys some time with the son of a colleague.
I would like to thank all the members of my team who work tirelessly for the success of this program. I am proud and blessed to be part of this wonderful team. We have established an office in Zimbabwe and work with the MOHCW and three implementing organizations. EGPAF is a leading partner in supporting the national PMTCT program at the national level and in 24 districts.

I am a Zimbabwean, a married woman with three lovely daughters. I have invested my energy in designing and managing many health and social programs. I feel I am doing the right thing. I often want to find meaning in what I do. I therefore believe in developing the capacities of others and bringing out the best in people.

Zimbabwe as a nation has the potential to give more to its people. I get my motivation from our commitment to making things work. One day we will eradicate HIV and AIDS in children.
