- Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT): Providing services to prevent transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies.
- HIV and AIDS Care and Treatment: Providing medical care and antiretroviral treatment for children and families living with HIV and AIDS.
- Elizabeth Glaser Scientist Award: Grant for an HIV/AIDS scientist in Zambia
Key Foundation Accomplishments (as of September 30, 2009)
- Provided more than 750,000 women in Zambia with critical PMTCT services.
- Enrolled more than 213,000 adults and children into HIV/AIDS care and support programs; of those ever enrolled, more than 136,000 have begun antiretroviral treatment; and of these, more than 9,700 are children.
- Since the beginning of the program, more than 763,000 pregnant women have been tested for HIV.
