It’s that time of year again…college students across America are lacing up their dancing shoes and showing their support for EGPAF and its quest to eliminate pediatric AIDS. In short, Dance Marathon season is in full effect! This year, Up For The Fight® Dance Marathons benefiting EGPAF are taking place across the nation in cities including Los Angeles, CA; Berea, OH; Berkeley, CA; Washington, D.C.; and Boston, MA. At each event, the structure is the same: students and supporters gather to dance (or simply stay on their feet) for up to 26 consecutive hours over the span of one or two days – literally “standing in solidarity” with the mothers, children and families around the world who are affected by HIV/AIDS. With thousands of participants every year, great live music, and appearances by celebrities and activists alike, EGPAF’s dance marathons have raised over $4.5 million over their history.
