Reaching Women and Children Around the World
The efforts of EGPAF and its global partners have enabled millions of women to gain access to critical medicines that help prevent the transmission of HIV to babies. Over the past five years, more HIV-positive women worldwide than ever before – more than half of those infected – have gained access to services for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT). However, there is still much work to be done before we realize the vision of a world free of pediatric AIDS.
In this photo gallery, you’ll take a glimpse into the lives of some of the courageous people EGPAF has touched. (If you’d like to read more about any or all of them, we invite you to visit our "Stories of Hope" section under the "What We're Doing" tab at the top of this page.)
