The Generation Free Campaign is the Foundation’s youth initiative. It aims to engage, empower, and unite young people around the world to help the Foundation eliminate pediatric AIDS and create a generation free of HIV.

Up 4 the Fight® Dance Marathons
Dance Marathons are the cornerstone of the Generation Free Campaign. Participants pledge to stay on their feet for 12, 24 or even 28 hours to represent the mental and physical challenges faced by children living with HIV -- all while raising funds to support the Foundation’s work. More than 300 college campuses have partnered with the Foundation, and numerous college campuses host annual Up 4 the Fight Dance Marathons. Contact

The Foundation and Alpha Epsilon Phi
The Foundation was adopted as one of AEPhi’s national philanthropies in 2000. In fact, Elizabeth Glaser herself was an AEPhi alumna (Sigma Chapter, University of Wisconsin).
The Foundation is proud to work with AEPhi as its chapters across the country hold events to raise money for the Foundation and to educate their campus communities about the unique issues facing young people living with HIV and AIDS.

Campaigners can continue to support the Foundation after graduation through Young Professionals groups. Across the country, these groups of altruists in their twenties and thirties put their creativity and energy to use by holding networking events to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.
