NEWS: The Wizard of Oz Descends on Miami Beach

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements invited the world’s top shoe designers, including Jimmy Choo, Betsey Johnson, and many more, to reinterpret Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers for modern times.
The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection will be officially unveiled at a gala event on September 4 at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York — in the famed designer shoe salon that’s so big it has its own zip code. The event at Saks will support the Foundation and promote the Foundation's
2008 Kids for Kids Family Carnival.
After a year-long tour, which began at the Kids for Kids Family Carnival on September 20, the shoes will be auctioned off in 2009, with all proceeds benefiting the Foundation.
Visit your local Saks Fifth Avenue store on the following dates to get a glimpse of the ruby slippers. More dates and locations to come:
