Unite Half Marathon at Rutgers Rutgers University, New Jersey, 4/17/2010

Endurance sport fundraising is one of the largest and most visible avenues of purposeful competition. The Unite Half Marathon is very proud to serve as a foundation that enables its athletes to raise many thousands of dollars for charitable organizations from all over the world. Most of these teams provide group training and coaching, inspiration and motivation that will get you to finish and most significantly, you help raise money to support your favorite cause.

Please consider joining the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s team, “OUR MOMENT,” when they participate in the Unite Half Marathon at Rutgers University this spring.

Twenty years ago, Elizabeth Glaser realized there was a moment to act—to change attitudes, demand action, and give a voice to children and families affected by HIV and AIDS. Just as Elizabeth realized her moment to act, we hope this event will be our moment to raise awareness of the Foundation’s work realize the strength and power within ourselves.

As an OUR MOMENT member, you will receive weekly newsletters full of helpful training tips, get the chance to meet the rest of the team before race day via Facebook, possibly get together for some group training runs, and receive the support and encouragement you need to complete your training and reach the finish line. Of course a great team t-shirt and goody bag is also part of the deal.
