Ride FAR 11
Massachussetts,
9/9/2009 — 9/13/2009
…We have promises to keep and miles to go before we sleep…
Every two years, 25 amateur cyclists bicycle 100 miles a day for five days to raise money, awareness, and compassion for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS. The Ride For AIDS Resources (Ride FAR) has operated since 1989 without a budget, corporate sponsors, paid staff, or advertising. Thousands of contributing individuals, businesses, and communities have helped Ride FAR raise $950,000. And all of that money has gone directly to services for children and adults with HIV/AIDS.
One-third of the funds raised on this ride benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
