Description:
For 15 years, Kids for Kids has brought families together to rally in support of the Foundation’s fight against pediatric AIDS. This year's carnival featured new and exciting components, along with all the favorite attractions from years past — samplings from New York’s greatest
restaurants, world-class
artists and
photographers,
celebrities, and both old-fashioned and cutting-edge games and activities.
And that's not all! The evening before the carnival, the Foundation hosted a very special art auction featuring pieces by acclaimed artists Cecily Brown, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, Richard Prince, and Tom Friedman. The entire weekend was an amazing success, raising
$3.6 million for the Foundation's lifesaving programs.
Kids for Kids highlights included:
- Story-telling with Leighton Meester and Nigel Barker;
- Painting with Jeff Koons;
- Food from NYC’s yummiest restaurants, including Dos Caminos, BondSt, and Mercer Kitchen;
- Decorating T-shirts with Kelly Rutherford;
- Video games with Tyson Beckford, and much more!
