Description:
On this once-in-a-lifetime trek through Swaziland, participants will witness the lifesaving Foundation-funded programs that prevent the transmission of HIV and provide treatment for children and families living with HIV/AIDS, while also experiencing Africa's breathtaking beauty. The funds raised by Walk participants will support the Foundation's programs for children and families.
AIDS Walk Africa runs from June 30 through July 5, 2008. To participate in this journey, each walker must raise a minimum of $15,000 for the Foundation, and submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit for all in-country travel expenses.
NEW! Take advantage of our special incentive fundraising goal for teams of two. Instead of raising $15,000 each, two-person teams — which can comprise of spouses, siblings, or friends — will be responsible for raising a combined total of $25,000. Don’t miss this chance to experience the journey of a lifetime with a loved one! Contact Liam Dall (ldall@pedaids.org/202-448-8479) for more information.
