You can still be Hollywood hip with grass under your feet. On a gorgeous day in L.A. (aren’t they all?), the Foundation, with the help of title sponsor The Walt Disney Company, will create a child’s fantasyland on the grounds of Wadsworth Theater. Every year, 2,000 guests can’t wait to walk through the A Time for Heroes entrance to see what activities and celebrities we have up our sleeves. Whether it’s celebrity storytelling with Jack Nicholson and Brendan Fraser, dunk-tanking with Dave Navarro, carnival games with Tom Hanks and Dustin Hoffman, dancing with Paula Abdul, skateboarding with Tony Hawk, or singing along with Michelle Branch and the Backstreet Boys, this carnival is full of don’t-miss-its and did-you-see-who-that-was?-its! Family fun, tasty treats, a carousel, and a rock-climbing wall — this is a day you won’t soon forget.
