Events

Celebrity carnivals, golf tournaments, dance marathons, and walks across Africa all have the same goal: To raise money for the Foundation's lifesaving programs. At our events, friends and supporters are brought together to have a great time while raising funds for an extraordinary cause. With an overall goal of ensuring that every child has a chance to live a healthy life, the true value of the Foundation's events is that the majority of every dollar raised goes directly to critical research, training, and advocacy programs.

Signature Events
The A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival, the Kids for Kids Family Carnival, the Celebrity Golf Classic, and AIDS Walk Africa are just some of the Foundation's signature events held throughout the year. Through the generosity of the underwriters, celebrity attendees, and volunteers, these are the Foundation's most successful annual fundraising events.

Special Events and Promotions
From coordinating nationwide product launches to organizing local basketball tournaments and concerts, supporters everywhere are getting involved and designating the Foundation as the beneficiary of their charitable events.
Auctions
The Foundation is able to offer a number of one-of-a-kind items for sale during its online auctions. Through the generosity of our many supporters, the Foundation benefits from the proceeds of these items throughout the year.

University Events
Across the U.S., university students are donating their time to organizing and participating in fundraisers as part of the Foundation's Caring for Kids 101 program. This program empowers students and student organizations to join the Foundation's fundraising efforts. The Foundation also benefits from many other campus events each year.
