UCSF-ASPIRE (AIDS Services, Prevention, Intervention, Research and Education) collaborates with EGPAF to support national HIV/AIDS training programs, and provide training and mentoring in the management of HIV/AIDS to nurses, doctors, and medical officers. UCSF and EGPAF implement and maintain clinical mentoring systems to support high quality HIV care at rural sites, and build in-country capacity to sustain on-going training/mentoring needs through training-of-trainer approaches. Additionally, EGPAF collaborates with UCSF on EGPAF’s Pediatric HIV Vaccine Research Program. UCSF-ASPIRE and EGPAF currently partner in Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, and Tanzania.
