The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) is one of EGPAF’s longest standing implementing partners, working together to expand access to high-quality prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV and care and treatment services for women and families in resource-limited settings. Since 2002, EGPAF and UNC have partnered in Russia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Malawi. EGPAF also has supported targeted studies by investigators at UNC to advance research that will lead to improvements in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment service delivery.
