EGPAF’s relationship with the
Communications Workers of America (CWA) stretches back to the earliest days of the Foundation, when little was known about HIV/AIDS and its effect on children. CWA designated EGPAF as its “charity of choice” in 1990 after Elizabeth Glaser delivered a moving speech at CWA’s national convention, and CWA’s support of EGPAF has remained invaluable ever since. CWA national and local chapters have donated a total of more than $6 million to help support EGPAF’s lifesaving programs, and they continue to be one of EGPAF's most generous partners.
