Abbott Fund

The Abbott Fund has provided vital funding to expand care and treatment for HIV-infected children and their families in Uganda and Tanzania since 2007. Thousands have been enrolled in HIV care and treatment programs through the generous support of the Abbott Fund. This long-term partnership has allowed EGPAF to pilot innovative approaches aimed at better identifying, following up with, and caring for those living with HIV/AIDS, with a focus on children – leading to the adoption and scale-up of lifesaving services. EGPAF also partners with Abbott to deliver HIV test kits to support a number of national AIDS programs throughout Africa.
