Senior Director of Accounting/Controller

Dan Warco has served as EGPAF’s controller since September 2006, supporting the establishment of the necessary financial systems and operations that have enabled EGPAF to grow to a $160 million organization. His responsibilities include overseeing all accounting operations in EGPAF’s country offices; he also has a prominent role in compliance, capacity building, and the development of various training platforms covering a wide variety of topics.

Before coming to EGPAF, Mr. Warco began his professional career in the Audit and Assurance practice at Deloitte and worked there for seven years, ultimately rising to the level of Audit Manager and specializing in audits of not-for-profit entities. He received an Accounting degree from Furman University, and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Virginia.
