Nigel Barker Joins EGPAF Board
We are excited to announce that Nigel Barker, world-renowned photographer and host of Oxygen’s “The Face,” has joined the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) board of directors!
“Nigel has been an outstanding advocate for us for many years and we look forward to his continued contributions to our mission to end pediatric AIDS,” said Willow Bay, co-chair of EGPAF’s board of directors.
Nigel has been an EGPAF ambassador for more than 5 years. He first began working with us in 2009, when he traveled to Tanzania to film his documentary, “Generation Free,” which chronicles the global effort to eliminate pediatric AIDS. Since then, he has been a tireless supporter of our work to prevent HIV/AIDS worldwide.
“I had a life-changing experience when I traveled to Tanzania. I witnessed both the devastating impact of HIV and the amazing progress that EGPAF has made to end this epidemic,” said Barker in a press release issued today. “I am honored to join the EGPAF board and I know that together, we can achieve an AIDS-free future.”
